				<title>the triple team threat</title>

				<link>http://park-city.club/~frix/blog/2026/06/28/the-triple-team-threat.html</link>

<description>It&apos;s that time of year again!
Last year, I participated in my first ever Art Fight. An event dedicated to drawing another person&apos;s original characters on an opposing team, or someone on your own if you&apos;d like. I had a lot of fun, so it would make some sense to try again this year.
Both early sign ups and the reveal of this year&apos;s theme occurred on June 14 (when I began writing this blog post) and interestingly they really decided to change things up: Three teams! All previous years involved two different teams, and I guess this year they decided to toss another one into the mix. (per the reveal announcement, it&apos;s being done in celebration of their 10th anniversary. Kudos to them.)

				<title>getting out of character</title>

				<link>http://park-city.club/~frix/blog/2025/09/16/getting-out-of-character.html</link>

<description>I guess that was quite an ‘art fight’, wasn&apos;t it? In the last post, I announced participating in this year&apos;s Art Fight tournament. Now that July&apos;s over, was it as fun as I had hoped? For me, certainly.
When I had started, I was hoping to get at least 13 of these done, though due to some other creative projects I was participating in by that time I was only able to get 9 done in total. Either way, I&apos;ll gladly take it over the larger number.

				<title>getting into character</title>

				<link>http://park-city.club/~frix/blog/2025/07/03/getting-into-character.html</link>

<description>Art Fight 2025 has concluded at 6:00 PM UTC on August 1, 2025. See you next year! (maybe)
Hi, here&apos;s another quick update for the pile. This one will be fairly quick as there haven&apos;t been any major updates as of recent, apart from squashing some bugs and adding content to the site.
First, I have decided to give this thing called Art Fight a shot.
If you&apos;re clueless, Art Fight is a annual online game/event where people on two different teams (or sometimes on the same team) “attack” each other with art of their original characters. There&apos;s much more to it, but that&apos;s what it mostly boils down to.

<description>This is something that I&apos;ve been meaning to get around to doing for a long while, but just haven&apos;t had the proper time. It&apos;s been a while since I bothered to write anything for the website. Besides for usual laziness, I&apos;ve been spending time on college and other projects, including one that&apos;s been six months in the making.
Anyway, When advertising my vast portfolio of work, most of the works shown when promoting the FrixCraft section doesn&apos;t entirely reflect what was available on the site. In simpler terms: the FrixCraft page hasn&apos;t been updated in quite a while.

<description>Hi, another quick update for those who may be passing by.
Last night, while working on some miscellaneous projects of my own, I happened to notice that both me and my website (the place you&apos;re reading this on, either that or a feed reader) were nominated for the 2024 Vibey&apos;s: One for Best Graphic Designer and another for Best Website (you can guess which ones are for what.)
In the past, I haven&apos;t observed any specific awards given to this website, excluding the time in 2021 where one of my friends awarded this website a Millie Award. I seemed to not have acknowledged it since being awarded it (even after the site refresh,) so there&apos;s that.

<description>I usually tend to stray away from posting stuff like this, especially considering not everybody wants to hear about this stuff, however I feel as if I have to make an exception. I&apos;ll try and keep it brief.
If you&apos;ve heard the news by now, you&apos;re probably as disappointed as I am right now. However, regardless of what the outcome is, I believe that we can manage to get through this together.

				<title>frixspace 3.0: one year later</title>

				<link>http://park-city.club/~frix/blog/2024/10/30/frixspace-3-0-one-year-later.html</link>

<description>Over a year ago, I published version 3.0 of my website, breaking a nearly 2 year streak of no updates. It was released in an “open beta” stage as I wanted to show off what I had been working on and get the basic parts of the site out as-is, rather than keep and release it all in the future.
A few things have changed during the process of the website&apos;s development. Aside from the portfolio being consistently populated with content (something I previously couldn&apos;t do as frequently), I switched computers and static site generators, I implemented a few features I forgot about previously, and I had to fix a few bugs I either introduced or encountered along the way. There&apos;s a bit more, but that are the most relevant.

<description>Hello all. I apologize in advance for the lack of updates recently. Things have been very busy, especially in this thing we might refer to as “real life.” I plan to make a more extensive post about it in the future, but for now I would like to focus on one specific thing.
After several weeks, months, and years of silence, I am finally deciding to make the latest revision of this website (dubbed version 3.0) public. I have been working on this for quite some time, first beginning in early-2020 and continuing on-and-off for the next couple of years. There have been a lot of contributing factors as to why I haven&apos;t been working on it as much, majority of it being procrastination and school (more recently college, but it counts.)

<description>hello, here&apos;s a few quick updates about this site
first of all, i have decided to change the headers for each page. originally I had used various built-in photoshop filters for the pages. as you can see now they have pictures, mostly of clouds, however there&apos;s a couple of exceptions from page to page.

<description>howdy. new updates, and in a quick format.
as you may have seen, the site has a completely different theme compared to the previous one. i wanted to make the site “feel more easier on the eyes” (despite the fact that there&apos;s no difference)
anything else? not really. i&apos;m still working on some pages. as of writing this, the misc. pages haven&apos;t gotten a change yet (however will be changed once this is published).

first of all, you may have noticed (or not if you&apos;re new here), I have finally added an archive to the blog&apos;s sidebar. given that the site (at the time as I&apos;m typing this) is mostly finished and I have no clue what else to add.

<description>what&apos;s up it&apos;s ya boi frix and let&apos;s just jump right into it:
so recently, I&apos;ve been thinking about creating a webtoon featuring some characters I&apos;ve created before.
the webseries name is currently unknown at this time, however the current working title will be “Developmental Hell”.
the show features three main characters, one being my persona, peejay. at the moment I haven&apos;t decided what&apos;s going to the main plot and/or genre, however i&apos;m going for a bit of a slice-of-life sitcom of sorts.

				<description>hello there and welcome back!
you&apos;ve probably noticed that the website looks completely different, and we&apos;re on a new domain.
you may have noticed this, but the site looks way different than before, while still retaining its 1990s vintage geocities-looking aspect of the site. (fun fact: i actually started working on the new design during early 2018 and was planning to add it to the old domain.)
I figured if I&apos;m going to revamp the design, i might as well finish the pages I never finished working on, specifically the “projects” page, which hasn&apos;t been updated at all.
