Kit (GAMEOVERSE)

Been quite a while since I last did one of these. With some recent interest in Minecraft recently I figured I'd return to making in-game voxel sculpts and builds as well.

Here's a character from a recently released animated pilot from GLITCH and the mind of animator RubberRoss. I've been seeing artwork of her across my many feeds, and despite not necessarily having seen many indie series recently, I decided to jump onto the opportunity anyway.

A pose was initially sketched out (similarly done for a previous piece) and modelled in-game. Looking back, I probably could've done a bit more with it.

Per usual, the head was done first to get the more complicated portions out of the way. The hair was done mostly with lines and manual filling. It took several painful hours of trial and error to get right, and I don't exactly think it looks great in some places, but I doubt that many people will even notice the errors or care about it.

I started building this on May 28 and finished it about an entire week into June, with renders done the day after. This is another one of many builds intended to be completed before the end of the month, but given my perfectionism it ended up being too much.

Both the legs and the hands were probably the most difficult part, which is funny considering previously they are typically the most simplest parts in previous builds. (excluding the hands. depending on the character, they are quite difficult to sculpt/build.) I didn't even bother with her right (or left depending on how you interpret it) hand, so I made it a blaster/gun instead. (From what I've seen, her arms can function as such.)

The renders are slightly larger than usual this time around, especially considering how large this build is. It's also enough resolution to let you realize that this is, in fact, a Minecraft build.
