Hi, here's another quick update for the pile. This one will be fairly quick as there haven't been any major updates as of recent, apart from squashing some bugs and adding content to the site.
First, I have decided to give this thing called Art Fight a shot.
If you're clueless, Art Fight is a annual online game/event where people on two different teams (or sometimes on the same team) “attack” each other with art of their original characters. There's much more to it, but that's what it mostly boils down to.
Given it runs throughout July–which it currently is as of writing this–plus the fact I've been getting back into doing more 2D art pieces recently, I figured I would give it a try. I was a bit hesitant at first (I've had an account for 5 years at this point), but you never know how things will go unless you try it yourself.
Of course, where's the fun in announcing my participation in such an event without providing my current roster of characters, or how about a link to my profile? (especially for those who might also be participating in the event.)
Next, in some relation to the main topic, the three characters featured above (Sam, Phoebe, and ELL-E.) now have new (or proper) reference sheets accessible on the characters page, therefore leaving two out of seven characters left without reference sheets. (If you're participating in AF, these characters are also available on my profile.)
Finally, one of these days I also plan on adding the attacks from this event (and the ones to come, whenever they are) to the art-a-thon gallery in the portfolio. Until that time comes, you can either view them on my AF profile or over on Bluesky.
